February at Woodbridge: Rugby, Roasts, and Community

Dear Members and Supporters,

February is shaping up to be a big months for us! We have a packed schedule of home fixtures, international rugby, and fantastic food events designed to bring our entire rugby family together.

As a community-run club, these events are about more than just what happens on the pitch. By coming along, grabbing a bite to eat, or cheering from the sidelines, you aren’t just enjoying a great day out—you are directly supporting the club’s future. We want every member—from our tiniest U6s to our seasoned Vets—to feel that the clubhouse is their home.

Here is what’s coming up this month:

🐗 Sat 7th Feb: Vets Day & The Big Hog Roast

Watch our Vets take on Mistley RUFC in a clash of the titans!

• The Feast: A full sit-down Hog Roast lunch with Lemon Meringue Pie (£17.50).

• Sponsorship: A huge thank you to our Club Chaplain, Rev Kevan McCormack, for sponsoring the day.

• 6 Nations: Italy vs. Wales & France vs. Ireland live on the big screens.

❤️ Sat 14th Feb: For the Love of Rugby (Valentine’s Day)

Forget the candlelit dinner—come and watch the 2nd XV face Halstead!

• The Food: Heart-warming pies and Valentine-themed cocktails.

• 6 Nations: Ireland vs. Italy & Scotland vs. England (The Calcutta Cup!).

🏉 Sat 21st Feb: 6 Nations Family Fun Day

A day dedicated to our Minis & Juniors families.

• The Vibe: A massive Club BBQ, open bar, and family-friendly atmosphere.

• 6 Nations: Watch the championship unfold with the whole squad.

🌸 Sun 22nd Feb: A Historic First for the Amazons

Join us for the inaugural Amazons Match Day Lunch as our women’s team takes on Diss.

• The Feast: A full Sunday Roast with all the trimmings.

• The Cause: Let’s pack the clubhouse to celebrate the incredible growth of the Amazons.
