What a month itβs been for our youth section β packed with achievement, leadership, and inspiration both on and off the pitch πͺπ
We have already seen some of the achievements done with U12s….below is even more to proud of.
π Giving back to the club
- Harry Carter (Northampton Saints U18s) ran a brilliant kicking clinic for our aspiring 10s β sharing top tips and pro insight! This has inspired other youth players who due to Northampton Saints commitments are unable to still play for Woodbridge to run some line out clinics for the younger players
- Zane Chowdhury, fresh from completing his referee course, very bravely offered to referee the U12s at the Woodbridge Minis Festival. His calm authority and maturity was evident and hopefully will inspire others to follow in his footsteps

π₯ Representative Rugby Success
- 8 players are representing Suffolk Rugby at U18s
- 4 of our U15s, Jamie Smith, Noah Manders-Hefer, George Bake and William Kershaw, have been selected for the Northampton Saints Foundation Phase , along with Louis Charema from our U16s.
- 3 players with Woodbridge heritage Will Hart, Ike Ihenacho and Harry Carter are part of the Northampton Saints U17 & U18 Academy β amazing to see the clubβs impact continue to grow.
- And a huge congratulations to Aston Barrington-Hibbert, who came through Woodbridge from U6βU13, now at Bath Academy and recently selected for England U18s Development Camp π¬π§π
ππ Northampton Saints Club of the Match
Last weekend, Woodbridge RUFC was honoured to be selected as Club of the Match for the Northampton Saints vs Harlequins fixture! ππ
Our junior section had an unforgettable day β starting with a training session in the Saints High Performance Centre, followed by a signed shirt presentation to the club.
Our young players then formed a proud Guard of Honour as the Saints ran out to put on a great performance and take the win ππ₯
Even more special was seeing our own home-grown player, Billy Pasco, take the field in the second half! Billy not only helped Saints secure the victory but also took time to sign our shirt and present Woodbridge RUFC with his Playerβs Ball π
Thank you, Billy β for inspiring the next generation of Woodbridge Youth players and showing whatβs possible through hard work, passion, and rugby spirit

We couldnβt be prouder of every single player β youβre brilliant ambassadors for rugby and shining examples of what can grow from a small, passionate community club ππ€
